Carménère is a dark-skinned grape variety originally from the vineyards of Bordeaux, and which has found a particularly suitable home in Chile. The Carménère grape produces fine, deeply colored red wines, with the attractive meaty plumpness of Merlot and the gently herbaceous, cedary notes of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Colour: Deep ruby
Aroma: Pleasant aromas of strawberries, raspberries, with subtle notes of fresh herbs and spices. Cedar notes penetrate the oak finish, showing a gorgeous effect on the berry base of the taste.
Palate: The flavors are full-bodied, with a delicious fruitiness that is accompanied by round tannins thanks to the aging in oak barrels.
Varieties: 100% Carménère
