The grapes for Tyrrell’s Beyond Broke Road Shiraz 2017 were sourced from Heathcote, a dry central Victorian climate with cool nights and warm days which make the region one of the best for growing shiraz in Australia. The fruit was picked in the cool of the night and processed without crushing the berries, this reduces the extraction of overt tannin in favour of more fruit freshness and vibrancy.
