30 year old Tinto Fino vines are responsible for the creation of this greedy wine. A perfect melody of pleasant aromas of red and black fruits, which little by little as if it was a game, are hinting towards new hues (licorice, spices, cacao).
Tasting Notes
Colour: Dark red
Nose: The wine has an intense fruity aroma and a layer of toffee notes.
Palate: On the palate it reflects the conditions of the harvest, re-encountering a more elegant and fresh Ribera, much more lively with a higher acidity and soft tannins which distance us from the last hot and excessively mature years. A Ribera that’s more continental than ever, more fresh, fruity and soft. Goes well with grilled red meat with seasonal mushrooms. Ideal serving temperature: 16 – 18ºC
Grape Varieties: 100% Tempranillo
Ageing: Aged for 12 months in French 400l oak barrels, 2nd fill.
Awards: 90pts – Guia Penin
