The wines from Levantine Hill’s Estate range are all single vineyard wines produced from grapes grown on our Maroondah Highway Estate. The range offers a superb showcasing of traditional wine making techniques and classic French single varietal Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines. Since these are also the mainstay varieties on which the Yarra Valley has built its enviable reputation, the Estate range is the truest expression of Levantine Hill property. Which is why it proudly bears the Estate title.
All the Estate range wines are released three years after vintage, with the exception of Estate Rosé and Estate Sauvignon Blanc Semillon, which are released within one year after vintage. Like all Levantine Hill wines, our Estate range is handcrafted in small quantities, so the number of bottles of each varietal we produce each year is very limited.

Nose: Intense signature aromas of blueberry, red currant, bramble leaf, ginger, cardamom, cayenne pepper, coriander seed and pencil shavings are in abundance.

Awards: 93pts – Gary Walsh, The Wine Front
History of Levantine Hill
Levantine Hill is rated 5 red stars by James Halliday (Australian wine critic). Even more impressively, Huon Hooke rates them the 30th best winery in the country, ahead of Penfolds, Yangarra, Woodlands, Shaw, and Smith, Torbreck.
Levantine has superb vineyards and growers and a brilliant winemaker in Paul Bridgemen who was formerly the winemaker for Yarra Yering. Levantine’s lofty ambitions are well encapsulated by the following quote “We hope this estate will transcend man’s inevitable mortality and brief custodianship of all things material.
Fortunately, the proof is in the bottle as confirmed by Jeremy Oliver who says “Levantine Hill produces wines of European elegance and subtlety and its quality aspirations are frankly inspiring.
