Tasting Notes
Colour: Dark ruby
Aroma: The nose is very rich in caramelized black fruit, loads of spice and black cherry cola aromas with notes of cocoa.
Palate: A kind of contradiction, but very rich. Acidity plays an important role here, refreshing the flavors, while the tannins are firm and taut. The berry flavors really pop on the palate as the wine has good depth leading to an incredibly long finish.
Grape Varieties: 100% Malbec
Aging: 70% of the wine is aged in old barrels for 1 year
Awards: 93pts – James Suckling
