After starting to make Blanc de Pacs in the 1980s, Joan Cusiné decided to marry the smoothest Cabernet Sauvignon with the most delicate and aromatic Garnacha from the Penedés. The result, a velvety wine, full of fruit but with the maturity that comes from its time in oak.
Colour: Medium intensity cherry colour.
Nose: Predominance of red fruits on a soft background of toast and vanilla.
Palate: Smooth and gentle on the palate, with velvety and round tannins. Reminiscences of red fruits such as cherries intertwined with hints of vanilla. Serve with cold meats and cheeses or to accompany a barbecue. Ideal to drink by the glass. Recommended serving temperature between 15ºC and 17°C.
Grape Varieties: Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon blend
Ageing: Aged in 2nd, 3rd and 4th year Allier French oak barrels for 7 months.

Parés Baltà has always been a small family winery linked from its origins since 1790 to viticulture and agriculture, in which all its members are involved (Cusiné family). Along with tradition and quality, the environmentally friendly cultivation of vineyards is one of the main hallmarks of Parés Baltà.
They work their vineyards in Penedés, Spain, with biodynamic viticulture, a type of agriculture that goes one step beyond ecological: They promote biodiversity, they use plants that heal plants, and create the perfect conditions for nature to decide at all times. All of the wines are certified organic and biodynamic vineyards (Demeter).
