The Experience

Enjoy an exclusive night at Vin’s, as MyWineClub showcases a range of innovative Australian wines that showcase the country’s winemaking traditions, paired with some great Italian bites!

Guided by Lionel Lau, one of Malaysia’s most sought-after wine  and spirits presenters and experts, sip on complex, delicious wines from Jacob’s Creek and St. Hugo estates. 

Be intrigued by the new techniques demonstrated, such as the Jacob’s Creek Double Barrel range, made from superior quality grapes and first matured in traditional wine barrels. Followed by a finishing period in aged whisky barrels for additional layers of complexity. 

Meanwhile, St Hugo has been a long-established name in Australian winemaking, thanks to the iconic Cabernet Sauvignon from Coonawarra. Or sip on St Hugo Barossa Shiraz, the specialty of this South Australian wine region. 

Amidst this range of Australia’s Top Drop, share in platters of fresh-baked Tomato  Basil Bruschetta, topped with cherry tomato confit, and enjoy the sea-fresh flavours of Spanish Mackerel cake, with a dipping of Chilli Aioli.

Calamari & Kampung Egg
An interesting combination of flavours between the crispy gluten free local squid, soft boiled egg, Vin’s smoky spice rub, anchovy aioli, olives and gherkins

Baby Mushrooms with Pine Nut Honey Lemon
Baby button mushrooms dusted in Vin’s secret spice rub, stuffed with ricotta, sautéed baby spinach and tomato confit, topped with pine nut salsa and honey lemon cashew nuts.

Spanish Mackerel Cake with Chili Aioli
Chili cumin marinated 100% Spanish mackerel, with house made chili aioli, accompanied by a fresh salad of baby rocket, chervil, dill and fried mint

Jacob’s Creek Double Barrel Cabernet Sauvignon
Exudes vibrant cassis aromas with mint, dark olive and caramel notes. To the palate, the Coonawarra Tannins are evident at first, before giving way to a mid palate filled with ripe cassis, olive tapenade and complex briary hints.

Jacob’s Creek Double Barrel Shiraz
Full and generous palate with a beguiling mix of sweet red fruits and dark chocolate indicative of its origins as Barossa Shiraz. It exudes aromas of lifted liquorice spice with dark plum and toasty notes.

St Hugo Barossa Shiraz
Rich and fresh flavour expresses the intensity of the vintage in Barossa.

St Hugo Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon
A fine balance between sweet fruit and fine structural tannin. Bright, dark berry flavours give the wine depth and generosity with dusty tannins holding it together. Oak adds a lovely char and spice elements to this wine of power and elegance.
