The Experience
The sun is up, the night has passed,Â
Christmas Day has dawned at last!
Scurry down the stairs, open the presents,Â
Make sure you hug and kiss your parents!
The table is laid, the silverware polished,
A feast is ready that you’ll savour with relish;Â
Roast Beef, Seabass and of course, Turkey,Â
Don’t forget to ladle on the gravy and cranberry!
Leave the salad and olives for the elders,
And fill your plate with clams, prawns and other delicious appetisers.
Dessert dessert, there’s always room,
For cakes, tarts and macaroons.Â
