The Happy Lunch has curated 2 European and 2 Argentinian wines with 4 courses of Japanese fusion cuisine.
Starting with a Spanish Chardonnay to tease the palate alongside Sumairu’s Chuka wakame and kurage snacks then moving onto 2 unique seafood appetizers of ikura tart and deep fried oysters in mango salsa paired with a beautiful Argentinian Pinot Noir.
For mains, we will serve a bright Spanish Red Crianza which has notes of ripe forest fruits that goes really well with Sumairu’s signature iberico grilled skewers.
Then comes the highlight of the lunch – an elegant Argentinian Malbec which wine experts score it up to 90 points saying its “a solid, tasty Malbec made from organically grown grapes that’s just plain good!”. We will serve this superb Malbec with Sumairu’s claypot lap mei rice dish.
Finally, Happy lunch comes to a sweet ending with a walnut pastry dessert with gelato.
