Nose: This wine displays expressive and alluring aromas of liquorice and mulberry.
Palate: The wonderfully structured and eloquent palate is broodingly complexed by an array of persistent fine grain tannins. Pairs extremely well with a medium rare steak with fresh horseradish and steamed greens.

Located in South Australia’s McLaren Vale, Chapel Hill Winery was established in 1973 by Tom Nelson and takes its name from a historic ironstone chapel built in 1865. Under the guidance of winemakers Michael Fragos and Bryn Richards, Chapel Hill strives to hand craft wines with purity and balance. To pursue this belief of “sense of place”, all of the grapes and wines are handled gently in small batches with a sensitive winemaking philosophy.
