Colour: Deeply pigmented ruby red
Aroma: Extremely floral with blackberry and blueberry character plus hints of violets.
Palate: Full-bodied yet always in check and reserve with fine tannins and bright acidity that goes on for minutes. Limestone undertones. The finish is particularly long this vintage. Super Clerc. Try in 2021 (JS)

History of Chateau Clerc Milon
Located in the Medoc commune of Pauillac, Chateau Clerc Milon is owned by the Baroness Philipinne de Rothschild. The 41 hectare vineyard is planted with the typical grape varieties of the Medoc: 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot and 1% Carmenere.
This Fifth Classified Growth is known for a tradition of quality and consistency that has been reinforced by the Rothschild family. Reminiscent of Mouton Rothschild, rich and full-bodied Clerc Milon wines have a reputation for quality and exude sensuality.
