Colour: Brilliant colour, with a beautiful, dark red hue.
Nose: Aromas of fleshy black fruit such as black cherry and blackcurrant come to the fore on the nose, mingled with more animal nuances, as well as notes of forest floor and violet.
Palate: Full-bodied and very fruity on the palate, underpinned by cocoa and tobacco flavours. Hints of spices and liquorice characteristic of ripe Merlot follow through to the finish.
