Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep dark red colour with black-tinged edges and a dark red hue.
Nose: Aromas of spicy red to blackcurrants intermix with tobacco, dried herbs and hints of dusty cedar.
Palate: Medium bodied the palate has savory red to black currant fruits infused with tobacco and dried herbs. Traces of black olive and spicy cedar mark the dryish finish. Slightly chalky tannins and a medium-length aftertaste.

History of Cousino Macul
A family-run winery that has remained strong since it was founded in 1856 and the unique seal of its wines define this iconic vineyard in the Maipo Valley. It is the only vineyard in Chile established during the 19th century that still belongs entirely to the founding family, a characteristic that has marked the identity of the company and the personality of its wines.
