Tasting Notes
Colour: Bright amber
Nose: Lovely sweet pear and apricot fruit as well as a hint of raisin.
Palate: The balance is perfect between sugar and acidity, there are notes of fresh fruit and candied fruit such as lychee , apricot , pear , quince , pineapple but also notes of honey , orange blossom , caramel , saffron and nutmeg . The fresh acidity balances the sweetness of the wine to leave a suave and infinitely long finish. A great sweet wine! Pair with chocolate, dried fruits, nuts and a wide variety of both hard and soft cheese, great with fruit-based puddings such as lemon tart, pavlova and fruit-topped cheesecakes.
Grape Varieties: White and Red Muscat de Frontignan
