This Pouilly-Fumé comes from the chalky-clay hills of Saint-Andelain, peak of the appellation where winegrowing dates back to the roman era. It’s terroir made of hard calcareous rock gives Pouilly Fumé its minerality, finesse, its rather fresh and lively character and its name.
Tasting Notes
Colour: Straw color with green undertones.
Aroma: Charming, floral and smoky character. A nose of white fruits, light citrus as well as a good portion of wet stone.
Palate: The wine is dry with a medium plus acidity which helps the medium body to get more structure. It displays its elegance, fruitiness and roundness and is very persistent in the mouth.
