Colour: Medium ruby
Aroma: Highly aromatic and not unlike a vermouth with a burst of botanicals and a bit of raspberry and plum underneath. Peppery notes of the Shiraz was the first to come through but then the berry from the Grenache hits with some lovely hints of forest floor and a hint of licorice from Mouverdre!
Palate: While elegant it’s still an Aussie wine at heart with a medium plus mouthfeel, weighted acidity and plenty of silky tannins. Similar floral and herb-driven palate with blackberry, raspberry and raisin. This wine is very good, and has potential for ageing.
Grape Varieties: 47% Shiraz, 32% Grenache and 21% Mouverdre
