Lillet Rosé won a Gold Medal in San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2011. A new product for the 21st century from Lillet, on release its first in more than 50 years. It’s a blend of red and white Bordeaux wines mixed with herb and fruit liqueurs before ageing in oak. An exceptional aperitif in the same vein as its rightly famed Blanc and Rouge.

Aroma: Light aromas of berries, orange blossom and grapefruit.
Palate: Fresh, lively and fruity to the palate with a balanced structure and only slightly acidic.

History of Lillet

It all started in 1872, when Raymon and Paul Lillet, fine wines, liquors and spirits merchants, funded Maison Lillet, then creating the first and only aperitif from Bordeaux called the Lillet. A blend of wines and fruits macerations crafted in the Podensac Cellars. In the 20s and 30s Lillet was served on very special occasions and official receptions, becoming the aperitif in vogue all around the world!

After World War II, Maison Lillet (still a small family run company) focused their attention to the American Market, also here, they were featured in every trendy New York bar. Pierre Lillet expanded the range by adding Lillet Rouge, which is stronger yet appealing to Lillet and red wine lovers alike. In 1999, Lillet became one of the 100 top-selling brands in France. At present, Lillet keeps growing with more countries and cocktail bars discovering the brand.
