A Barolo in the highest part of La Morra, at almost 500 meters above sea level in a marvelous natural amphitheater with a view of the Piedmontese Alps.
The MGA is called Serradenari, and Ratti’s Cascina Sorello estate covers an area of approx. 4.5 Hectares of vines varying in age between 20 and 40 years, on the typical land formation of La Morra.
The wine has a greater “edge” than our other Barolos, while nonetheless maintaining the characteristics and typical traits of La Morra.

Colour: Garnet red.
Nose: Notes of plums, violet and tobacco.
Palate: Full flavored with good tannin levels and acidity. A great wine for important dishes, red meats roasted on a spit or grilled, game, dishes of gourmet white and red meats and ripe cheeses.

For more than 50 years, the name Ratti has been indissolubly tied to Barolo. Today, Ratti Winery in La Morra produces the classic wines of the Langhe district, fully respecting the philosophy established by the founder, Renato Ratti.
The Ratti Winery is located in the heart of the Barolo area, right next to the ancient Annunziata Abbey, a precious jewel of the 15th century. The vineyards of Ratti Winery spread across approx. 50 hectares, divided among 6 estates, located in La Morra, Mango, Costigliole d’Asti, and Dogliani. Today Pietro Ratti has been running since 1988 the family Company, which has been founded by his father Renato Ratti in 1965.
