Tua Rita Redigaffi is the estate’s iconic wine and has enjoyed international acclaim since 2000 when it was awarded a 100-point score by the legendary American wine critic Robert Parker.
The grapes for the masterful Redigaffi are sourced from the estate’s top plot of Merlot which was planted in 1994.

Nose: On the nose crunchy red fruit, balsamic notes, hints of spices with hints of cumin, tobacco and sensations of freshly processed leather.
Palate: A perfect balance, elegant tannic texture with notes of tobacco and liquorice. The long persistence closes this wine making each sip an unforgettable experience. Great paired with red meat dishes, roast, grilled meats, game, mature cheeses.

From a small plot of land in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma to international excellence. Tua Rita was founded in 1984, in the heart of the Tuscan Metalliferous Hills, in Suvereto, by Rita Tua and Virgilio Bisti. Originally purchased as a small property with a few hectares of vineyards, the company has grown rapidly to its present size, producing approximately 220,000 bottles per year. Tua Rita’s philosophy is based on producing high-quality wines with a strong connection to the territory and meticulous attention to detail in every phase of production.
Tua Rita boasts 65 hectares and adheres to the principles of organic agriculture because Tua Rita’s longstanding goal is to preserve the health of the grapes and the surrounding environment to the fullest extent possible. Spread over gentle slopes, almost imperceptible to the naked eye, the vineyards are nestled between the land and the sea in the region known as Alta Maremma, specifically within the territory of the Metalliferous Hills. This area is distinctively characterized by its soil, which is rich in stones, rocks, clay, silt, sand, and especially micro-minerals. This unique genetic heritage is reflected in Tua Rita’s wines, which are aromatically marked by pleasant iron notes and, on the palate, by a beautiful saline character.
