Tasting Notes:
Colour: Pale yellow colour
Nose: Simple apple blossom and peach skin-scented bouquet that would benefit from more mineralité. Typical notes of star anise and spice.
Palate: The palate is tensile on the entry with a fine line of acidity, quite strict and linear (more so than the Les Vaudevey) with an attractive, if slightly clipped, saline finish.
Grape Varieties: Chardonnay

History of Domaine Laroche
Domaine Laroche was established in 1850, within the exceptional terroir of the appellation Chablis in Burgundy. Michel Laroche is now the fifth generation at the helm of the Domaine Laroche, a family estate of a hundred hectares. Chablis, near Cote d’or, is renowned for its production of superb Chardonnay. The winters are harsh but the hot summers are ideal with cool nights. This ideal terroir lends itself to produce wines with a vibrant, refreshing minerality.
