THE BLEND
This exceptional 21-Year-Old blend was co-created by Richard Quinn and Royal Salute Master Blender, Sandy Hyslop, during an experimental blending session in Strathisla Distillery, in Scotland. Hand-selecting a range of the finest Scotch whiskies from Braeval, Strathisla and Caperdonich distilleries, together Richard and Sandy crafted a rich, fruity whisky with hints of spice and soft smoke.
THE FLAGON
A reflection of Richard’s personal palate, the blend is balanced and opulent with a remarkable depth of flavour and a lingering finish.Inspired by Richard Quinn’s signature floral prints, this year’s edition is available in three unique flagons featuring vibrant patterns personally created by the designer. His remarkable craftsmanship brings an ethereal energy and enchantment to the Royal Salute flagons, creating true collector’s items that encapsulate the beauty and artistry of the world of fashion.
Richard Quinn graduated from London’s prestigious Central Saint Martins Arts and Design School before winning ‘British Emerging Talent – Womenswear’ at the 2018 Fashion Awards, as well as the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design. Riotous florals, heavy pearls and a fresh take on latex signal Richard Quinn’s distinctive signature style.
Colour: Luminous golden caramel
Nose: Lively touches of exotic mango and banana are complemented by creamy vanilla fudge and cinnamon, with a subtle hint of roasted chestnuts.
Palate: Rich and fruity with accents of sweet strawberry jam, pear and peaches, a touch of honey blossom is subtly balanced by oak spices and a wisp of sweet smoke.
Finish: Smooth and complex with a lingering whisper of smoke.
