Colour: Bright ruby ​​red, tending to garnet.
Aroma: Ethereal, extraordinarily elegant touches of violet and wood.
Palate: Dry, harmonious, fruity and velvety, elegant texture and a long finish.
Grape Varieties: Minimum of 70% Sangiovese and a maximum of 30% of Canaiolo and Merlot
Aging: Two years in large oak barrels from Slavonia oval a small part in French oak barrels. After bottling, wine aged in our temperature controlled cellars for at least 6 months before its release.

History of Carpineto
Founded in 1967, Carpineto farms 424ha of land that spreads over four estates located in the renowned Central Italian region in Tuscany. The range of wines from Carpineto includes some of the most classic and famous wines such as Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino, Vin Santo as well as the highly revered Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva that is made with the native Sangiovese grape.
